Introduction

With the service commencement of the East Rail Line (“EAL”) cross-harbour extension approaching, the EAL will become the fourth cross-harbour railway line to directly connect the Northeast New Territories, Central Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. MTR Corporation will organise a “Run, Run Like a Train!” East Rail Line Cross Harbour Virtual Run this May to celebrate this major milestone. Participants can decide to run any route at any time on their own and witness the transformation of this century-old railway.
